Ingredients
1 kg Divine Deli beef liver
2 large onions sliced in rings
250ml Buttermilk
2 Garlic cloves chopped
5 mℓ Salt
5ml Pepper
2.5ml cayenne pepper
50ml Flour
Method
Soak the liver in the buttermilk for 30 minutes.
In the meantime, fry the onion until golden Brown.
Drain the beef liver, Pat dry and season with spices and flour on both sides.
Pan fries the liver in melted butter, 3 minutes per side or until they change colour.
Add the onions back to the pan and cover the lid to Cook for 5 more minutes.
For a saucier dish add sour cream to the pan and bring to the boil.
Serve with porridge or mash potatoes.
