DIVINE DELI CURRY MINCE / NAM-NAM MINCE

Ingredients 

1 Kg NAM-NAM beef mince 

2 Onions 

2 Garlic cloves chopped 

50 g Tomato paste 

2 Whole tomatoes chopped or a tin tomato chopped 

5 Carrots diced 

1 cup Frozen peas 

30 mℓ Curry powder 

30 mℓ Worchester sauce 

Cake flour     

10 mℓ SALT 

7ml Black pepper 

3ml Cloves fine 

250ml Beef stock 

2 Tablespoons Cooking fat 

 

Method 

  1. Sauté the onions, tomatoes and garlic in the cooking fat, until soft and fragrant on medium heat. 

  1. Add the diced carrots and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. 

  1. Brown the mince in the same pan, break up any lumps with wooden spoon. 

  1. Add the dry spices, tomato paste, curry powder, Worchester sauce, beef stock and frozen peas and bring to a boil. 

  1. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. 

  1. Add the flour mixed with a little bit of water. Cook for another 5 minutes, until the veggies soft and the sauce has thickened to a gravy-like consistency
